What is Futurity?

Futurity is a nutritional supplement specifically designed for young, growing horses (eighteen to thirty six months of age) that are being trained to perform in intense athletic competition. These horses must meet nutrients requirements for: 1) Maintenance, 2) Growth, and 3) Work. They must be supplied sufficient energy, protein, calcium, phosphorus, copper, zinc, and manganese to meet their requirements for maintaining their current body status; in addition, they must also meet their requirements of these nutrients for growth and work. This places an additional burden on feeding these horses.

Futurity contains added calcium, phosphorus, zinc, copper, and manganese, essential minerals, to help you meet your horse’s mineral requirements. Ester-C® and vitamin E have been added to help as antioxidants and with the immune system.

The skeletal and suspensory systems of these horses are subjected to a gret amount of stress. This is occuring while the horse is growing and developing; often not physiologically ready to bear weight. Compounds proven to enhance and strengthen the joints, connective tissue and soft tissue are added to Futurity. MSM, Gluosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate are added nutrients for improved joint health. Yucca is added as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic substrate.

Futurity is designed to help the horse meet their genetic potential. These young horses are being asked to undergo intense training, in addition to growing and developing. Often these horses become sore and the training regime is reduced or stopped. This is costly both in dollars and time. Age dependent events present a narrow window of opportunity.
