Why would I feed Legacy™?
Legacy™ is designed to help the older horse remain flexible and comfortable as they age. Often these senior citizens have undergone hard use as equine athletes. This may have resulted in degenerative joint disease, stiffness, and a decrease in activity. While, no amount of supplements, in any form, will return them to their previous physical status, Legacy™ may provide relief to your old friend.

The skeletal and suspensory systems of these horses are subjected to a great amount of stress. Even senior horses need chondro-protective nutrients, these horses have structural remolding taking place. Nutrients proven to enhance and strengthen the joints, connective tissue and soft tissue are included in Legacy™. MSM, Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate are added nutrients for improved joint health. Yucca is added as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic substrate.

Legacy™ also contains rice bran that is stabilized for additional fat as energy. This allows the horse to maintain adequate digestible energy in advance training when going off feed. Senior horses have different nutritional needs. With limited total intake, and digestive efficiency, proper ration concentration can be critical to these animals. Rice bran and yeast culture are included to improve digestive efficiency without risk of overfeeding.
